As a resident who has proudly owned my home and lived in the Bell Park community since December 17, 2017, I share a profound affection for the unique character, natural beauty, and vibrant spirit of our neighbourhood. My connection to this area is deeply personal, rooted in a strong commitment to preserving our local heritage through my ties to two of Bell Park's historic homes—one which I am privileged to own and reside in, and another landmark property to which I share a close, dedicated connection. Over nearly a decade, I have watched our community grow, but it is with a heavy heart and a firm sense of civic duty that I must acknowledge the unsettling daily realities now facing our downtown core and surrounding residential areas.
